PARLEYS CANYON — One man is dead after a rollover crash in Parleys Canyon Wednesday, police said.
The man was driving a pickup truck alone when it went off the road and rolled through trees and landed in a yard, Unified Police Sgt. Melody Gray said.
She estimated the man was in his late 80s and said the cause of the crash was under investigation. However, she said police speculate the driver suffered a medical incident that caused the crash.
No one witnessed the crash and no one else was injured, Gray said.
The crash occurred about 4 p.m. on the right shoulder of eastbound I-80, near the Quarry, according to Utah Department of Transportation.
