SPRINGVILLE, Utah (AP) — Authorities in Utah have released the name of a woman who died in a fiery crash in Springville.

The Utah Highway Patrol identified the victim as 33-year-old Tayva Steele.

They say Steele was driving a pickup truck that went off the Interstate 15 off-ramp and struck a utility pole about 2 a.m. Saturday.

The truck then went into a construction area and traveled several hundred feet before hitting the side of a semi-truck and catching fire.

Highway Patrol officials say excessive speed and a possible medical condition may be potential factors in the fatal crash.
