(KSL News) -- Search and rescue crews were called out today to help a pair of fallen hikers.

The two men from Park City were hiking in Neffs Canyon. When they climbed on a boulder it broke loose and they fell about 40 feet. A member of the group was able to call 9-1-1 from a cell phone.

Because of the tough terrain they were in, crews decided to call in Lifeflight.

The chopper had a mechanical problem but it was quickly fixed. A rescuer also became ill.

22-year-old Jessie Blais and Phillip Stonger are both in hospitals.
