LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — An official with Denny Crum's foundation says that former Louisville coach has been hospitalized after recently suffering a stroke. Jonathan Israel, who is the principal fundraiser for the Denny Crum Scholarship Foundation, provided the information in a Twitter post attributed to the foundation. The post said that Crum, 82, suffered the stroke in the past week but did not mention his condition or what hospital he is in but said that he is recovering.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — Syracuse forward Oshae Brissett has decided to keep his name in the NBA draft and won't return for his junior year. Brissett made the announcement Tuesday night on Twitter.

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) — Michael Rothenberg hit a grand slam and drove in five runs, and Duke beat Notre Dame 10-6 at the Atlantic Coast Conference baseball tournament. The seventh-seeded Blue Devils won their opener in pool play and will earn a spot in the semifinals with a victory over second-seeded Georgia Tech.

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) — Wake Forest scored go-ahead runs on two bases-loaded walks and a passed ball in the seventh inning to outlast No. 6 Florida State 7-4 in the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament. Bobby Seymour and DJ Poteet scored off walks to Bruce Steel and Jake Mueller sandwiched around Shane Muntz's run off a passed ball. The 10th-seeded Demon Deacons sent nine batters to the plate that inning against six FSU pitchers.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) — Maryland has boosted its frontcourt by adding Tennessee transfer Mimi Collins. The 6-foot-3 forward averaged 5.5 points and 3.4 rebounds in her lone season at Tennessee. Collins has three seasons of eligibility remaining. She plans to seek a waiver that would allow her to play immediately. If the NCAA doesn't grant the waiver, she would have to sit out the 2019-20 season.

CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) — Clemson forward Jonathan Baehre tore an ACL at practice and there is no timetable for his return. Baehre is a 6-foot-10 junior transfer from UNC Asheville who sat out all of last season. With four starters gone from this past year's team, Baehre was expected to play a big role for the Tigers. Clemson coach Brad Brownell said the injury was unfortunate for Baehre and the team. Brownell says Baehre will approach rehab the right way and have a productive career at Clemson

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) — Dante Baldelli capped a two-run 11th inning with an RBI single as Boston College topped Clemson 7-5 in the opening game of the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament. The Eagles (30-26) earned their first tournament win since 2010 after the Tigers rallied from 5-2 with a three-run eighth.

FARMINGDALE, N.Y. (AP) — Nothing drives Maria Fassi of Mexico like failure. Fassi was the Annika Award last year as the best player in women's golf as a junior at Arkansas, only to play some of her worst golf in the NCAAs. She atoned for that by winning the NCAAs in her final event before turning pro for the US Women's Open.
