(KSL News) A murder trial begins today in Box Elder County for a crime that happened almost a quarter century ago.
Opening statements are set for this afternoon in the trial of Glenn Howard Griffin. He is accused of stabbing and beating Bradley Newell Perry to death during a robbery at a gas station in 1984.
Police arrested Griffin for the murder in 2005 after new DNA technology connected him to the scene.
A second man, Wade Garrett Maughan, has also been charged in connection with the murder and will likely stand trial next year.
