OGDEN — A Weber County mother who prosecutors say served alcohol and performed lap dances for teenagers at her house during a birthday party is facing a dozen criminal charges.

Rhianna Renae Nivens, 40, of Harrisville, was charged Tuesday in 2nd District Court with four counts of dealing in harmful materials to a minor, a third-degree felony; four counts of lewdness, a class B misdemeanor; and four counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, a class B misdemeanor.

On Feb. 9, a birthday party was held at Nivens' home in Harrisvillle, according to charging documents. Twelve teens between 14 to 17 years old attended.

"During this party, the minors drank alcohol and smoked marijuana and (Nivens) knew about this occurring in her home and even drank some alcohol with them," the charges state.

Nivens then went upstairs to change into "a risqué outfit which they described as red and black lingerie," charging documents state.

"The minors stated that after (Nivens) came back downstairs in the lingerie she began to 'dance sexually' for approximately 10 minutes during which she gave several minors lap dances," according to charging documents.

At least one teen recorded some of the alleged lap dancing on a cellphone. Harrisville police were contacted the next day.
