FILLMORE, Millard County — A Salt Lake man who allegedly touched multiple times a 14-year-old waitress in a Fillmore restaurant has been arrested and charged.

Craig Bruce Parsons, 64, was charged Monday in 4th District Court with sex abuse of a child, a second-degree felony, carrying a loaded concealed firearm, a class A misdemeanor, and carrying a dangerous weapon, a class B misdemeanor.

On Sunday, Parsons was at the Paradise Restaurant in Fillmore when he allegedly touched the butt of a 14-year-old waitress three times, according to charging documents.

"This was also observed by another juvenile witness," charging documents state.

Police escorted Parsons out of the restaurant. While doing so, officers asked if he was carrying any weapons. Parsons said no, the charges state.

"Once he was placed in handcuffs, I conducted a pat search of Parsons. In his right coat pocket, I located a loaded pistol. There was also a fixed blade knife located on his side with a six-inch blade," the officer wrote in his report filed with the Millard County Jail.
