SALT LAKE CITY — A man wanted in connection with a stabbing was arrested Monday following a standoff with police.
About noon, a man was critically injured when he was stabbed at an apartment, 1805 W. Kimberly Circle (460 North), said Salt Lake Police Sgt. Brandon Shearer.
Officers surrounded the apartment. One officer broke out a window after smelling gas to ventilate the apartment, Shearer said. About an hour to 90 minutes later, the man wanted in the assault came out the window and surrendered without further incident, he said.
Marcus McLain, 53, was arrested for investigation of attempted murder.
