SALT LAKE CITY — Friday marks the first day of the Downtown Dine O’Round in Salt Lake City. The annual event encourages locals to eat at new locations or return to old favorites by offering cheaper prices for select menu items.

The Dine O’Round offers $5-$10 lunches and $15-$35 dinners. The event runs from Friday to Oct. 14.

Here are the restaurants that are participating and which menu items are discounted:

$5 Lunch

Argentina’s Best Empanadas: Two empanadas + side salad + chipa bread

Bocata: Half a Bocata sandwich + choice of soup or side salad

Caputo’s Market and Deli: Half a Caputo sandwich + salted chocolate chip cookie

$10 Lunch

Argentina’s Best Empanadas: Two savor empanadas + choice of side salad or chipa bread + dessert empanada + a drink

Bagels and Greens: Your choice of the Trout and Truffle Sandwich or Far East Salad + choice of pastry

Blue Iguana: Encurtidas + your choice of salmon salad or enchiladas suizas

Bourbon House: Your choice of deviled eggs, ham 'n' cheese cracklins, or baked peppers + your choice of Juicy Lucy, Prime Rib Dip, meatball sub, chickpea burger or carnitas tacos

Cancun Cafe: Chile verde burrito + carnitas taco with rice and beans

Cannella’s: Choice of soup or salad + choice of butternut squash ravioli or spaghetti Bolognese

Cedars of Lebanon: TBA

Copper Canyon Grill House: Side salad + turkey club with fries

The Copper Onion: Cacio e Pepe + farro + Kurobuta ham and brie sandwich

Current Fish and Oyster: Steelhead rice bowl + Tahini swirl brownie
