SALT LAKE CITY — If you were to list everything that has been happening in Utah lately, it might sound like something out of the Bible: floods, fires, hailstorms, thunder, lightning.

But no, this isn’t the plagues in ancient Egypt. This is just Utah in August.

In case you've missed some of these moments this month, we've got photos to prove they happened. Our gallery is filled with pics sent in by Utahns who captured the scenes of the wild hailstorms, lightning and fires throughout the state.

Browse the gallery to see the photos, and be on the lookout for the first signs of fall as September gets off to a start this week. If you're as excited as we are for fall foliage, help us out by sending in your photos so we can share them with readers. To submit, click the iWitness button below, or head to the iWitness page on your computer. You can also download the app and submit photos to iWitness using your mobile device.

And follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to see more photos throughout the week.
