SPANISH FORK — The Coal Hollow Fire burning in southeast Utah County is now more than half contained after more rain poured over the fire overnight, according to a new update by crews battling the fire.
More evacuations were also lifted as crews gain an upper hand on the fire. Evacuation orders in nearly all areas surrounding the fire in Spanish Fork Canyon have been lifted except for the area where the fire is. All forest service in the area also remains closed.
Utah Fire Info states it’s one of five active wildfires in the state, while the North Eden Fire is officially out as of Wednesday.
