SALT LAKE CITY — The total cost of fighting the Coal Hollow Fire in Utah County has reached $11.58 million, according to officials.
Utah County Sheriff's Sgt. Spencer Cannon tweeted Tuesday about the cost, as well as closures and the containment efforts of the blaze.
The Coal Hollow Fire began 15 miles east of Spanish Fork as a result of a lightning strike on Aug. 4.
