CENTERVILLE — A 17-year-old boy was taken to the hospital in critical condition after authorities said the car he was driving rolled multiple times Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency crews responded to a report of a rollover crash on the Legacy Parkway near Parrish Lane shortly after 2 p.m., according to Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Nick Street.
He said the teen was traveling north on the parkway when his car left the roadway and rolled. The teen was wearing a seat belt but was partially ejected in the crash, Street added. The teen was taken by medical helicopter to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, but Street said the teen told troopers at the scene that he thought he fell asleep shortly before the crash.
