1. Fire near Strawberry Reservoir forces road closure, is 10% contained

A wildfire near Strawberry Reservoir has forced the closure of at least one road as crews try to get a handle on the blaze.

Starting Monday, Bjorkman Road will be closed due to the Willow Creek Fire north of U.S. 40 and the reservoir, according to the Forest Service. Co-op Creek and Strawberry River roads will remain open.

2. Alleged intruder shot in South Salt Lake apartment

A man was hospitalized with gunshot wounds early Sunday after police say he broke into a South Salt Lake apartment and was shot. It is the second incident in Salt Lake County in three days where an alleged intruder was shot in a home.

3. Final preparations begin for Trump-Kim high-stakes summit

Final preparations are underway in Singapore for Tuesday's historic summit between President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, including a plan for the leaders to kick things off by meeting with only their translators present, a U.S. official said.

4. 2 remain hospitalized after crash outside Millcreek Starbucks

Two people remained hospitalized Saturday with injuries they suffered when a man drove a truck over a curb and hit patrons seated outside of a Starbucks coffee shop Friday.

Joslyn Nicole Spilsbury, 48, of Salt Lake City, died in the crash.

5. Police: 3 men rob teen before hitting him with gun, shooting at West Jordan house

A group of men robbed a 16-year-old at gunpoint before hitting him in the head with a gun and shooting at his house near 3766 W. Sumter Drive in West Jordan early Saturday morning.

1. Zlatan brace lifts LA Galaxy by Real Salt Lake, 3-0

In the end, the loss came down to one word: Zlatan.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored two goals, and the Los Angeles Galaxy snapped Real Salt Lake's three-match win streak with a 3-0 win Saturday night at the StubHub Center.

2. Justifiable! Racing gets 13th Triple Crown with Justify

Justify defied all the odds on his way to achieving Triple Crown immortality.

The late bloomer won the Belmont Stakes by 1¾ lengths on Saturday, giving the sport its 13th Triple Crown champion. American Pharoah ended a 37-year drought in 2015 and now just four years later, racing is celebrating another sweep of the Kentucky Derby, Preakness and Belmont.

4. Utah Valley inks hoops coach Mark Pope to 6-year contract extension

With his wife Lee Anne sitting at his right hand, (and at the explicit direction of outgoing Utah Valley President Matt Holland, who sat on the left) Mark Pope signed a six-year contract extension Thursday with the Wolverines, committing long-term to a program he has helped build with a lengthy run of transfers and incoming recruits to one of the top teams in the Western Athletic Conference.

5. Golden Still: Warriors sweep Cavs for second straight title

Stephen Curry scored 37 points, Kevin Durant added a triple-double and another NBA Finals MVP trophy and the Warriors won their second straight title and third in four years Friday night, 108-85 over the Cleveland Cavaliers to complete a sweep and perhaps drive LeBron James from his home again to chase championships.
