BERLIN (AP) — Flights to and from Hamburg airport have resumed after a power outage forced its closure for much of Sunday.

News agency dpa reported that a plane from Turkey landed at 6.30 a.m. Monday, restarting operations. But airport officials said there would still be some disruption, with 10 arrivals and 23 departures canceled out of the 214 of each that were scheduled.

Departures and arrivals from around 10 a.m. Sunday were canceled because of the electricity outage, caused by a short circuit in the airport's main power supply. The airport, Germany's fifth-biggest, estimates that more than 30,000 passengers were affected.
