MIDVALE — Police are searching for two masked men who they say robbed a Walmart clerk at gunpoint Thursday night.
Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at the business, located at 7250 S. Union Park Ave., about 11 p.m., according to Unified police detective Ken Hansen.
“One of them showed a gun to a clerk and demanded money,” he said. “They grabbed the cash and ran out of the store.”
The men were seen heading east toward a nearby apartment with an undisclosed amount of cash, Hansen said. No injuries were reported in the robbery.
Hansen said officers didn’t find the men while they searched apartments and businesses near the Walmart, but found an article of clothing that could have been worn by one of the men.
Police were searching through surveillance video Friday morning to see if they could identify the men or a vehicle the men might have used.
