FORT DUCHESNE, Uintah County — Authorities continued their search Tuesday for a man they believe was involved in a shooting that left a 22-year-old man critically injured early Sunday morning.
The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Adult Probation and Parole, U.S. Marshals, and the FBI have been searching for Bradley James Moore, 32, of South Dakota, since the shooting, FBI spokeswoman Sandra Yi Barker said in a statement.
Barker said Moore is suspected of shooting another man inside a home in the Fort Duchesne area early Sunday morning.
The man was flown by a medical helicopter to a hospital Sunday. He remained in critical condition Tuesday afternoon, Barker said.
Authorities from various agencies have searched for Moore since the shooting. Barker said the man is known to have contacts in the Salt Lake City and Ogden areas.
She said Moore should be considered armed and dangerous and encouraged anyone who sees him or knows of his whereabouts to call 911, Bureau of Indian Affairs dispatch at 435-722-2012 or Uintah Basin Communications Center at 435-789-4222.
