LORETTO, Pa. (AP) — Jamaal King scored 26 points and Keith Braxton had 23 points to go with 14 rebounds as Saint Francis outlasted Central Connecticut 77-71 in overtime after blowing a 16-point lead on Thursday night.

King drained the game-tying 3-pointer for the Red Flash (15-11, 9-6 Northeast Conference) with 5.1 seconds left in regulation to send it to overtime.

The teams went back-and-forth to begin the overtime period, and with 1:40 left King made a free throw to tie it at 69 all. From that point on, the teams went cold, with just one made field goal between them. Braxton and King made all the difference, combining to hit 8 of 8 free throws in the final minute of overtime to give the Red Flash a win.

Less than a minute into the second half, Saint Francis stretched its lead to 16. A 27-6 run from the Blue Devils (12-16, 5-10) erased that lead entirely and put Central Connecticut up by five. The lead was the same when Braxton sank two free throws and King hit his game-tying shot.
