PROVO — Rep. John Curtis, R-Utah, has filed his intent to run with the Utah Republican Party in the 3rd Congressional District, ensuring that his name will be on the ballot at the state GOP convention in April.
“I look forward to meeting with the delegates from across the district and earning their vote,” Curtis said in a statement Thursday. “I have been working hard to take Utah values and our principles to Washington, D.C., and I look forward to continue fighting for our constituents.”
Curtis, who won a special election to fill the remaining term of former Rep. Jason Chaffetz in November, has already filed his intent to gather signatures to ensure that his name will also be on the Republican primary ballot.
