Coco Warner ReportingThousands of Utah women have been associated with a nationally recognized volunteer group-- the Junior League.

And most recently they hosted a health care clinic that served thousands of Utahns for free. That definitely deserves a High 5.

The Junior League's headquarters are located at 500 East and 300 South. And this is a group that really epitomizes community service.

Lisa Burbidge has been involved with the Junior League for the last several years, and most recently stopped by this year's Care Fair.

Lisa says she remembers launching the very first Care Fair for the Junior League 13 years ago. Back then, the only thing offered was immunizations. This year, more than 4,000 Utahns had access to free health services.

Lisa is now a sustaining-- or retired-- member of Salt Lake's Junior League. But she says once a member, always a member.

Lisa Burbidge/Junior League of Salt Lake: "So I look back and I just think, I couldn't have done anything better."

Another plus to volunteering? Lisa says working on an event like Care Fair bonds you with fellow volunteers for life.

Lisa Burbidge/Junior League of Salt Lake: "Because you've worked so hard together and you've struggled through problems or challenges and issues and you've found solutions. There's just nothing more meaningful than to be able to look at each other at the end of the day and say, 'We did it!'"

Lisa attributes her years of service with the Junior League to getting her where she is now. She works for Salt Lake City's Ronald McDonald House.

It's a job she loves, but still says there's nothing quite like volunteering.

Lisa Burbidge/Junior League of Salt Lake: "It is really the part of my life that means the most. I feel like I really am making the most impact when I'm volunteering."

All week we've introduced you to some great Utah volunteers, but now it's your turn.

We want your nominations of those you think deserve a public thank you. Go to the link above and let us know why that person makes such a difference in your life. We'll then come out to their house-- bright and early-- and surprise them with a High 5 on your behalf, live on television!
