CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery was up 1.20 cents at $4.2340 a bushel; March corn gained .40 cent 3.5320 a bushel; March oats lost .20 cent at $2.43 a bushel while January soybeans was up 1.20 cents at $9.6040 a bushel.

Beef higher and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle was up .90 cent at $1.2240 a pound; January feeder cattle rose 1.08 cents at $1.4548 a pound; February lean hogs was up .20 cent at $.7173 a pound.
