SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Frankie Ferrari came off the bench to score a career-high 19 points and added five assists and Chase Foster knocked down 4 of 5 from 3-point range and scored 17 to power San Francisco to a 74-61 win over UC Davis on Friday night.

Matt McCarthy added 12 points, seven rebounds and three blocked shots for the Dons (6-3), who were playing the Aggies (7-3) for the first time since 1976. Jordan Ratinho hit three 3s and scored 12 points for San Francisco, which improved to 7-1 all-time against UC Davis. The Aggies' lone win was a 45-30 decision during the 1939-40 season.

Siler Schneider notched a season-high 19 points for UC Davis, while double-double machine Chima Moneke totaled 13 points and 11 rebounds. Moneke came into the game as one of just seven players across the nation averaging 20 points and 10 rebounds per game. UC Davis had its four-game win streak snapped.

UC Davis led until Foster nailed a 3-pointer midway through the first half to give the Dons their first lead, 15-14. USF stretched its lead to 38-28 at intermission. It was the most points allowed in the first half by the Aggies this season. UC Davis pulled within four points early in the second half, but Ratinho made a pair of 3-pointers in a 14-0 run and the Dons coasted to the victory.
