Grains higher, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery was up 2.20 cents at $4.19 a bushel; Dec corn higher .40 cent 3.4940 a bushel; March oats gained 4.40 cents at $2.5340 a bushel while January soybeans was 7.20 cents lower at $9.72 a bushel.

Beef higher and pork was mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle was up .70 cent at $1.1635 a pound; January feeder cattle was up .35 cent at $1.46 a pound; December lean hogs was unchanged at $.6395 a pound.
