Police searching for missing South Ogden man

SOUTH OGDEN — Police are asking for the public’s help in searching for a South Ogden man who went missing on Wednesday.

Walter Leodolter, 86, left his home in South Ogden around noon on Wednesday, according to a press release from South Ogden police.

Leodolter was driving a dark gray and blue 2015 Subaru Forester with Utah license plate “AFLENZ.”

Leodolter has dementia and needs medications, police said. He speaks fluent German and sometimes forgets that he speaks English.

Anyone with information about Leodolter is asked to call Weber County Dispatch at 801-629-8221.
