Rangers searching for Tooele man missing from Grand Canyon National Park

GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK — National Park Service rangers are searching for a Tooele man who went missing from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon on Tuesday.

Michael Legus, 39, was last seen on Tuesday, Oct. 31 at about 12:15 p.m. near the Mather Point Overlook in the park, according to a news release from park service spokeswoman Emily Davis.

Legus is 6 feet tall and 230 pounds, Davis said in the release. He has brown and gray hair and hazel eyes and was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Anyone who may have seen or talked to Legus is asked to call the park service Investigative Services Branch at 888-653-0009.
