(KSL News) -- A combination of road construction and railroad tracks is making the journey to and from school pretty dicey for hundreds of families in Layton.
Construction at 369 West Gentile has blocked the front of the school so parents and buses can't drop kids off. Traffic gets so bad, carpoooling parents end up stopped on railroad tracks, which is never a good idea.
The community has brought in extra police and flaggers until construction is set to be completed in November.
