(KSL News) Investigators say a fire burning near Moab may be the result of arson.

Crews found tire tracks from an ATV or four-wheel drive vehicle within a few feet of where the Slough Two fire started. Vehicles in that area are illegal.

Investigators have ruled out a thrown cigarette as the cause.

If anyone knows anything about the fire, or a vehicle in the Matheson Preserve, they're asked to call the Grand County Sheriff's Office at (435) 259-8115.

Crews hope to have the fire contained by tomorrow.
