(KSL News) With President Bush in town security is tight. And last night there was a prime example of that.

A fight broke out between two young men at 150 East 600 South-- that's a block away from where the President is staying.

But instead of police breaking up the fight, the Secret Service stepped in. They jumped out of their car and separated the kids.

By the time authorities arrived, the young men were separated and in handcuffs.

Lt. Dave Cracroft, Salt Lake City Police Dept.: "There's a lot of extra security and there will be Secret Service personnel all over the downtown area checking on various things. So this wouldn't surprise me if it happens again in other situations."

Narcotic paraphenalia was found on one of the young men and both were taken home by their parents.

With all the excitement the dignitaries in town, local police are already stretched out. Lt. Cracroft says the extra help was greatly appreciated.

Lt. Dave Cracroft, Salt Lake City Police Dept.: "It'd be nice to actually have them around all the time and make it easier for us."
