(KSL Sports) Utah head football coach Kyle Whittingham took advantage of a unique opportunity on Tuesday, October 21st. He kicked off the bye week by traveling to Bristol, Connecticut where he accepted an invitation to make various television and radio appearances to promote his No. 12 Utes.
He started the morning by making an appearance on ESPN 2 First Take. That was followed by two radio appearances.
First, he stopped by "The Herd with Colin Cowherd" where he and Colin discussed his 11th-ranked Utah Utes pursuit of a second trip to a BCS bowl game. He said that he thinks that we're headed for a college football playoff system. Coach Whittingham also shared his stories of working with former Utah head coach Urban Meyer.
Later, he paid a visit to the Mike Tirico and Scott Van Pelt Show. They talked about how the only way to get credibility is to go out and play quality teams and beat them, and that's what Utah has done.
Finally he was a studio guest on College Football Live on ESPN. He was asked if the Utes finish the season undefeated do they deserve a chance to play for a national championship.
