SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Although she canceled her trip to Utah, anti-war activists Cindy Sheehan's voice may still be heard in Salt Lake City today.
Organizers of a protest against the war in Iraq were working last night to connect Sheehan through a live video link to the rally -- scheduled for eleven a-m today at Washington Square.
Sheehan was scheduled to speak at the demonstration against President Bush and his war policy today. However, the 49-year-old had to cancel because she's still recovering from a recent hysterectomy and is too ill to travel.
Sheehan became well-known after she spoke out against President Bush and the war after her son was killed in Iraq in 2004.
