RIVERTON — An off-duty police officer found a man's body on a trail in Riverton Friday morning, Unified police detective Ken Hansen confirmed.
The Murray officer found the body near 2830 W. 12090 South around 8:50 a.m. Police are investigating but say nothing appears suspicious at this time, according to Hansen.
The man appears to be around 60 years old. His body was likely there overnight, Hansen said.
