ST. GEORGE, Utah (AP) -- Dixie State College has named a new dean of students.
College spokesman Steve Johnson says alumnus Del Beatty took over the position earlier this month.
Beatty previously served as dean of students at the College of Eastern Utah. He was also director of student involvement at Southern Utah University.
He earned an associate's degree from Dixie in 1989 and got his bachelor's and master's degrees from SUU.
