CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Sept. fell 13.25 cents at 4.6125 bushel; Sept. corn was down 8.25 cents at 3.6250 bushel; Sept. oats was off 4 cents at $2.8025 a bushel; while Aug. soybeans declined 35 cents at $9.5950 a bushel.
Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Aug. live cattle was up .80 cent at $1.1280 a pound; Aug. feeder cattle rose 3 cents at $1.4917 a pound; while Aug. lean hogs fell .50 cent at $.7980 a pound.
