SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — In a story July 27 about a lawsuit with implications for California's high-speed rail project, The Associated Press reported that the case pitted the state's High-Speed Rail Authority against Central Valley farmers. The story should have made clear that the rail authority and farmers were not plaintiffs or defendants in the lawsuit and only filed briefs in the case.
