Kirk's vehicle collided head-on into a Hyundai carrying five people. Kirk and the driver of the Hyundai, Shauna Allen, 46, of Wales, Sanpete County, were killed in the crash.
A 12-year-old girl who was in the Hyundai sustained serious injuries and was taken to a hospital by medical helicopter, UHP reported.
