CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Sept delivery was higher 1.20 cents at $5.0420 a bushel; Sept corn was up 7.20 cents at $3.8960 a bushel; Sept oats was rose 1.20 cents at $2.9420 a bushel while August soybeans gained 12.20 cents to $10.12 a bushel.
Beef lower and pork higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
August live cattle was .18 cent lower at $1.1745 a pound; August feeder cattle was down 1.18 cents at $1.5333 pound; July lean hogs gained .48 cent to $.8210 a pound.
