Photos by Heidi S. Nelson(KSL News) -- A fire that lit up the mountainside above Perry and Brigham City is almost out tonight.
Box Elder County says crews contained the blaze, and are now putting down hot spots.
Lightning ignited the fire last night, forcing evacuations and rattling residents.
Cory Daniels/Witness: "Something that shocks you so much it puts you in a little bit of a panic."
Residents who were evacuated are now home again.
Authorities have also re-opened Highway 89 and Sardine Canyon.
