(KSL News) An elderly woman is in critical condition tonight after being hit by a truck while crossing a street in Provo.
The 21-year-old driver of the truck was in the process of turning right onto University Avenue from Paul Ream Avenue around 1:45 this afternoon. At the same time, a 73-year-old woman was crossing University Avenue in the crosswalk.
The truck struck her at a low speed, but she hit her head on the road. She was taken to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.
