(KSL News) Large flames this morning as a brush fire worked its way to a Salt Lake storage facility at 1100 North Beck Street.
Scott Freitag, SLC Fire Dept.: "It was pretty spectacular because the hillside right behind this facility is steep and full of grass, so it was lit up really well."
Officials say the fire was most likely started by transients. The blaze began near some hot pots in the area and spread over the shed.
Several sheds were damaged. Crews estimate the loss at around $5,000. Nothing inside the structures was damaged.
