LEHI — Police have identified a woman who died in an auto-pedestrian crash in Lehi last week.

Maria Loreto Alivez, 44, of Lehi, was hit by a car near 400 East and Main Street on the night of April 5.

Lehi police reported Alivez was not in a crosswalk or near a stoplight when she was hit. Investigators believe she was walking home from where she worked at McDonald's, 48 S. 850 East. It wasn't clear whether she was trying to cross to the other side of the street or just walking in the road.

Alivez walked to and from work every day, according to police.
