(KSL News) Salt Lake Police used a taser on a man who resisted arrest this afternoon.
Officers tried to arrest the man, but he got violent with them so an officer tasered him.
Investigators say the suspect appeared to be under the influence of drugs, and that may be why he would not cooperate.
The suspect was transported to the hospital to be checked out before being taken to jail.
