SALT LAKE CITY — The championship round of the “Best Small City” tournament is finally here.
Separated by a 17-mile stretch of land and the Jordanelle Reservoir, No. 6 Midway and No. 11 Kamas are locked in for an rival-county fight. On Wednesday, Midway took down the perceived tournament favorite, narrowly defeating Moab by 294 votes after more than 13,000 votes were cast. Kamas easily defeated Morgan, winning with 56 percent of the vote.
As a reminder, the voting will go throughout the day and will be officially called at midnight (votes after midnight will not count). The winning city will be named Monday after a three-week tournament. As always, there are no formal rules other than cheating or gaming the polling system is not allowed.
Have fun and may the “Best Small City” win!
