SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake Comic Con kicked off FanX Friday, which brought hoards of unique and creative costumes to the Salt Palace Convention Center.
Thousands browsed around the booths, took photos with celebrities — heck, even took photos with complete strangers dressed in characters they admired.
The convention center floor became the only place where the DC and Marvel universes seemed to intersect while waiting in line for a $6 slice of pizza or where "The Walking Dead" star Michael Cudlitz had to see the brutal Lucille bat over and over again before signing autographs.
