DETROIT (AP) — Tai Odiase and Dominique Matthews scored 16 points apiece to help No. 6 seed Illinois-Chicago hold off third-seeded Green Bay for a 79-70 win in the Horizon League Tournament on Sunday.

UIC (15-17) will play No. 10 Milwaukee in the tournament semifinals Monday.

Matthews hit a 3-pointer midway through the second half to spark a 17-2 run that put the Flames on top 68-52 with 4:42 left.

Green Bay went 0 for 11 from the field during a nine-minute stretch in the second half that included UIC's breakaway but then dug in and used a 10-0 run late in the game to cut the deficit to 72-70 with 1:08 left. Green Bay's James Hurdle had two 3-pointers during the run but the Phoenix didn't score again as UIC sealed it from the free throw line from there.

Tarkus Ferguson added 12 points and 10 rebounds for UIC to get his sixth career double-double.

Kerem Kanter led Green Bay (18-13) with 19 points and Hurdle had 11.
