DENVER (AP) -- A United Airlines flight from Chicago O'Hare to Salt Lake City was diverted to Denver International Airport after an intoxicated passenger became verbally abusive to flight attendants, an airline spokesman said.
The man, whose name was not immediately released, was taken into custody by Denver police once the plane landed, United spokesman Brandon Borrman said. Denver police did not immediately return a page.
None of the 110 passengers or six crew members on the flight were injured.
