CHICAGO (AP) — The world's top professional squash players — 66 men and 66 women — from 21 countries competed at the Windy City Open in Chicago through March 1.
The World Series event was held in Cathedral Hall at the University Club of Chicago, a landmark building that opened downtown in 1909 and is known as the nation's first Gothic modern skyscraper. The athletes used rackets to strike a small rubber ball which travels up to 170 miles per hour onto the surface of the four glass walls.
