DAYTONA, Fla. (AP) — Kurt Busch has won a wild Daytona 500 that saw the leaders run out of gas in the closing laps and featured 15 cars knocked out of the race early by wrecks. It was the first Daytona 500 victory for Busch in 16 starts, and the first for Tony Stewart as an owner or driver. Pole-sitter Chase Elliott appeared poised to win until he ran out of fuel with three laps remaining.

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (AP) — Rickie Fowler ended his 13-month winless skid on the PGA Tour by taking the Honda Classic in Florida. Fowler shot a 1-over 71 to score a four-shot victory over Gary Woodland and Morgan Hoffman. Fowler took control of the tournament with a 65 that left him 13-under through three rounds.

NEW YORK (AP) — Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert (goh-BEHR') has been fined $25,000 for making physical contact with an official. A video replay shows Gobert touching the arm of an official in an apparent attempt to get his attention while disputing the foul call during Friday's win over Milwaukee.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Los Angeles Kings have landed another netminder to go with Jonathan Quick, getting Ben Bishop from Tampa Bay for goalie Peter Budaj (BOO'-dy) and the rights to junior defenseman Erik Cernak. The deal comes three days before the NHL trade deadline and includes draft picks. Bishop is 16-12-3 with a 2.55 GAA and a .911 save percentage this season.

UNDATED (AP) — The Minnesota Wild have acquired Arizona center Martin Hanzal, who has scored 16 goals and 26 points in 51 games this season. The Coyotes also receive a 2017 first-round pick, a 2018 second-round pick, a conditional 2019 fourth-round pick and minor leaguer Grayson Downing. Forward Ryan White and a 2017 fourth-round pick go to Minnesota as part of the package.
