(KSL News) -- Hill Air Force Base is about to begin a monumental project. The Base will spend about 360-million dollars to reconfigure all of its A-10 aircraft to the A-10-C planes.

The A-10-C will allow pilots to engage ground targets faster and more accurately. It will also let them fight from safer distances than ever before.

The Base held a ceremony today marking production of the first A-10-C Aircraft.
