NEW ORLEANS (AP) — DeMarcus Cousins has been traded from Sacramento to New Orleans in a five-player, two-draft pick deal that will pair him with fellow All-Star Anthony Davis. The Pelicans get the talented but temperamental Cousins along with Omri Casspi for Tyreke Evans, 2016 first-round draft pick Buddy Hield (HEELD), Langston Galloway and first- and second-round draft picks this summer.

UNDATED (AP) — Unbeaten Gonzaga tops The Associated Press men's basketball poll for a third straight week after getting 59 of 65 first place votes. Defending national champ Villanova is second with Kansas third. They are followed in order by Pac-12 powers Arizona, UCLA and Oregon

NEW YORK (AP) — With their winning streak now at 101 games, the UConn Huskies continue to lead the pack in this week's Associated Press women's college basketball poll. The next team to take on Connecticut will be No. 23 Temple, which makes the top 25 for the first time in March 13, 2006.

ST. ANDREWS, Scotland (AP) — Organizers of the British Open have announced that the 2020 championship will be held at Royal St. George's in southeast England. The event has been held at the course 14 times with the most recent coming in 2011 when Darren Clarke won.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Former Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes winner Charismatic was found dead at a thoroughbred retirement farm in Kentucky on Saturday. The chestnut horse saw his bid to win the Triple Crown in 1999 come to an end with a dramatic leg injury near the finish line of the Belmont Stakes. The cause of death for the 21-year old is unknown.
