(KSL News) -- An Eagle Scout did a very good deed today. An Eagle Scout did a VERY good deed today.
Gerald Erickson donated 500 books to the South Salt Lake Police Department as part of a service project.
The books will be added to an on-going collection that the police department will give to the library at Woodrow Wilson Elementary School.
The books will also be given to students whose parents can't afford to buy books.
